The National Security Services Company (SAFE) signed today, Wednesday, 18 Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to April 16, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Education. The signing took place in the presence of Mr. Turki bin Matooq Al-Thonayan, CEO of SAFE, and Eng. Abdulrahman bin Nasser Al-Hajri, Deputy Minister for Investment at the Ministry of Education.
This MoU is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors and expand areas of cooperation in security and safety services, contributing to the protection of individuals and property and enhancing the overall efficiency of the security system within Ministry of Education facilities.
The MoU aims to explore opportunities for collaboration in the provision of security services and solutions, civil guarding, and the development of infrastructure and technologies that support the security and safety system.
The areas covered under the MoU include the provision of security and safety services across several vital sectors such as training and development, security solutions, civil guarding, consultancy, smart control centers, facilities management, and supporting logistics services. It also includes the analysis, review, and advisory services related to security platforms and systems, in addition to exploring opportunities to develop safety and security equipment and systems across the Ministry's facilities.
This partnership reflects the Ministry of Education's strategic direction toward enhancing the efficiency of the security and safety system in its educational facilities by leveraging the advanced expertise of the National Security Services Company (SAFE) in this field.
